Thank you for taking the time to look at my website which details the work I do as a garden designer/landscaper, nurseryman and lecturer. My passion is working with plants and being out in the garden – whether dividing and potting up plants, constructing herbaceous borders or lecturing on Companion Planting.

I began my garden design business back in 1990 and have since designed everything from tiny front gardens in England to vast turf mazes in Minnesota, USA. My specialism is cottage gardens and borders where I create harmonious drifts of colour that give that wonderful sense of the English garden throughout the summer. My lecturing started in the late 1980s when I ran gardening courses at the various Field Study Centres such as Flatford Mill in Suffolk. I have since gone on to give talks and run courses throughout the UK and do a yearly lecture tour in the USA.
